888 Drums Eternity | IGT/Everi

Project Title: 888 Drums Eternity
Role: Art Lead | Senior Artist | Product Owner

Project Overview
To deliver a high-volatility, player-centric slot experience that balanced complex mechanical scaling—specifically, fluidly transitioning reel array sizes—across both compact and premium hardware cabinets. As the Lead Artist and Product Owner, I was tasked with defining the visual identity, conducting extensive market research, and leading both the production and technical integration cycles.

| Strategic Impact & Leadership |

Multi-Project Portfolio Leadership:
Simultaneously served as the primary artist for 888 Drums Eternity while directing and managing the artistic output for two concurrent development projects. This required rigorous prioritization, cross-team resource allocation, and daily pipeline synchronization.

Visual Strategy & Competitive Research:
Spearheaded a studio-wide initiative to define traditional and modern slot aesthetics. By conducting deep-dive competitor field research and translating findings into actionable style guides, I elevated the studio's understanding of accumulator behaviors and color theory, establishing new benchmarks for visual quality within the studio.

Product Ownership & Cross-Functional Alignment:
Acted as the primary interface between Art, Developer, and Game Designer. I managed the project lifecycle through iterative milestone reviews, proactively translating high-level stakeholder feedback into tactical team action items.

Constraint-First Pipeline Design:
Navigated hardware limitations by architecting assets for the most constrained cabinet first. This process-driven approach ensured that our visual foundation for a unique game feature—a player-selectable reel array up to 6x5—was robust enough to scale elegantly to the larger cabinets, optimizing production efficiency and minimizing rework.

Collaborative Development Loop:
Fostered a high-transparency development environment, facilitating weekly "on-cabinet" reviews and play-sessions with the full game team (Producer, Designer, Mathematician, Developer) to ensure creative intent remained perfectly aligned with gameplay performance.
